There is no keyboard shortcut that I am aware of that ONLY clears the cache. The shortcut to clear default private data is Ctrl+Shift+Del and will clear Browsing History, Saved Form and Search History, Cache and Authenticated Sessions.
While developing, I often come across instances when I’d like to only clear my cache and preserve the other data.
Easy to follow, thanks. But what exactly does clearing your cache do? What’s the point? I don’t know if there was audio included because I don’t have it, so just thought I would ask.

Hey Zach,
There are many different types of computer caches, the one I’m referring to is a browser cache.
A browser cache is basically a snapshot of a web page saved locally to decrease load time. They’re not very handy when trying to develop a website. For example, if you change an element on a page that has been cached, you’d have to clear that cache in order to see the changed element.
I’m a search marketing, social media and web development professional from St. Louis, MO. Aside from the aforementioned, I enjoy home brewing, charity work, studying history and anything related to technology. more...

There isn’t a keyboard shortcut for that?

Here is a good site that explains what a cache is.
