iPhone: Ultimate Parenting Tool

Madeline Grace HobinGranted my daughter Madeline Grace is only 2 weeks and 2 days old, I’ve already come to rely heavily on my iPhone for parenting. Here’s a brief list of tasks accomplished thus far:

  1. Text friends notifying them of Madeline’s arrival.
  2. Call family notifying them of Madeline’s arrival.
  3. Email friends and family pictures of Maddie.
  4. Sooth a fussy Maddie with Bob Marley and DMB.
  5. Show off pictures of Maddie.
  6. Monitor feeding times
  7. Check the weather to see if it’s ok to take Maddie for a walk.
  8. Get directions to the pediatrician.
  9. Call my new daughter.

Tanner~ Oh my gosh, I did not know you had a new baby girl. Congratulations! She is absolutely beautiful.

  2. Tanner Hobin says:

@Kristen, thank you so much! She’s amazing, and partially the reason SMCSTL.com has not yet been updated.

There’s an application that will let you record video on the iPhone and e-mail it to people……but the only catch is you have to jailbreak it first :/

Hopefully the 2.0 software will let people. I’m sure one of the SDK apps this June will offer it.

    Hey Tanner,

Congrats on the baby girl. She looks amazing. I have a boy on the way (3 weeks!) and am getting pretty nervous now.
